We are now done with the field work, ready for planting this next week. It’s been had getting all the required seeds in place which caused the delay otherwise by now the crops could be germinating. After planting there will be 2 sections of weeding, one after one month then the second weeding will be after two months, this however depends on the soil type; harvesting is saved for December/January.
This year I have also planted rice but on small scale for domestic consumption, they have already germinated now awaiting first weeding which is due to begin in two week. If by God’s grace I get good harvest then my project for Congo will easier, but I hope not to cell till late next year as the price will very low soon after harvest.
